Our Mission: To Share His Love and Light

At Joy and Hope Studio, our mission is simple:
to bring God’s love and light into daily life—and to share that love and light with others.

Every candle we pour and every product we create is inspired by our Catholic faith and our desire to make beauty a reflection of God’s goodness. We believe faith can be lived out in the little things—like lighting a candle at the end of a long day, practicing gratitude, or filling our home with reminders of God’s presence.

Our Joy: Giving Back to Others

Our “why” began with family. 

David’s dad had a huge heart for others—he founded a charity called Joy and Hope that helped orphans and underprivileged families in Southern Vietnam. His example of faith and generosity continues to inspire us today and to honor him, we want to continue what he started in our own way.

That’s why a portion of every purchase goes toward charities close to our heart—causes that uplift vulnerable communities, support families in need, and share Christ’s love and compassion around the world. 

From now until Lunar New Year 2026, every purchase you make will help feed poor families in Vietnam. Each year, David’s family in Vietnam helps us coordinate the proceeds from your purchases by personally delivering bags of rice and bottles of fish sauce to families in need—simple gifts that mean so much during the holidays. Through their hands and your contributions, we’re able to share the joy and hope your generosity makes possible. With your support, we can help ensure that families who might otherwise go hungry will have enough to eat—and a reason to celebrate—this Lunar New Year.
